The apps
Tomte for Mac and Tomte for iPhone process your documents, messages, photos, questions, and memory on your own devices. The apps have no accounts, no analytics, and no telemetry. We do not receive, store, or have any ability to access your content or your conversations with Tomte.
The apps connect to the network only for:
- the one-time download of model weights when Tomte moves in;
- web search, if you ask for it and leave it switched on;
- the direct, end-to-end encrypted connection between your own iPhone and your own Mac when paired. We can't read it; that's what end-to-end means.
This website
The site is static and sets no cookies. If you use the contact form, we receive what you typed, meaning your name, email address, and message, and use it only to reply. We don't sell or share it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time via the same form or email.
Like any web server, our content network keeps standard access logs: the URL requested, the time, the IP address, and the browser's user-agent string. We read them only as aggregate counts, such as how many visits a page got or how many times the app was downloaded, and they are deleted automatically after six months. No cookies, no fingerprinting, no third-party analytics; nothing follows you off this site.
